Bruce Herold

Born in Butler Pennsylvania, Bruce moved to the Birmingham area in 1975. He retired from B.F. Goodrich-Michelin and Books-a-Million. He is preceded in death by his parents: Oliver and Freda Herold and brother Roger Herold. Survived by his wife: Carol Herold Daughters: Elizabeth Kaya ( Garry) Cocoa Beach, FL; Bonnie Short (Michael) Auburn, Al. Step-daughter: Leah Ashworth, Alabaster, AL, Step-son: Leland Ashworth Jr. (Alicia) Lima, Peru. Brother: Nicholas Herold (Shelbie) Galena, Ohio. Grandchildren: Brooks Crawford Short, Harrison Reid Short, Grady Luke Edge II, Joshua Thomas Edge, Leland Trey Ashworth and Sabrina Mariel Ashworth.

Service to be held Saturday Sept. 5th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Trussville, AL. Visitation is at 11am until 12 noon with Celebration of Life to follow. Rev. Dr. Christopher DeGreen and Rev. Scott Hawkins officiating. Eulogy by Nicholas Herold. Soloist is Mrs. Maize Nelson.
