Brenda Huffstutler

Brenda Joyce Huffstutler passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 57, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s, surrounded by her family who loved her dearly.

Brenda was an exceptional woman! Her smile and personality were infectious, and to know her was to love her.  She brought sunshine into our lives and truly was beautiful inside and out.

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.  “Gram”, as we called her, will live on thru the legacy of her children and precious grands who were certainly her pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Betty Loyed and a daughter, Erin Elizabeth Messer.
She is survived by her husband: Kelly Huffstutler, sister: Janet Whitmore (Joe), Daughters: Brandi Burns (Justin), Holli Dorsett (Kyle), Stepdaughter: Kayla Huffman (Joel), Grandchildren: Hunter, Evan, and Grant Burns (Brandi), Cooper and Beckett Dorsett (Holli), and Laiken, Tyde, Harbor, and River Huffman (Kayla), niece: Ashlee Hanvey (Adam), and nephew: Andrew Pierce (Kimberly).

Brenda will be honored in a “Celebration of Life” at Bethel Baptist Church in Odenville, AL, on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. The family will receive visitors from 4 to 6 PM with her service beginning at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Children's Ministry in honor of Brenda Huffstutler.
