Brenda Harris

Brenda Barnes Harris, age 71, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Mrs. Harris was a former member of Parkview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Lois Barnes. She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Harris; son, Jeffrey L. Harris (Sandi); sisters, Miriam B. Mitchell and Janis B. Harris; grandchildren, SGT 1 Kendrick K. Brown -US Navy(Brittany) Suffock, Virginia, Tyler and Paige Harris; great grandchildren, Jordan and Savannah; niece LaDonna Moon (Joel); Nephews, Joel Mitchell, Bret and Bart Mitchell; a beloved aunt Sara Southard and two great nieces Shea and Shelby, and several cousins; long time family friend Mr. A.H. Estes. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to New Beacon Hospice Care. Services will be held on October 15, 2011 at 2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Pastor Mark Enoch officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
