Brandon Cornelius

Brandon Seth Cornelius, 16 of Trussville passed away on September 11, 2010. Brandon attended Hewitt Trussville High School. He loved riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers. He also loved hunting and fishing. Brandon was a loyal friend to those he cared for and a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shannon Smith of Trussville; his grandfather, Preston Morrell Cornelius of Clay and an aunt, Stephanie Cosby of Village Springs. Survivors include by his father, Bryan Cornelius of Trussville; his step mom, Leslie Renee Cornelius; brothers, Zachary Bryan Cornelius and Preston Blake Cornelius both of Trussville and Christopher Pickrell of Pell City; grandparents, R.C. and Sherry Smith III of Oneonta; grandmother, Lolita Oliveros of Birmingham; aunts, Lisa Newton (Jeff) of Birmingham and Letty Smith of Birmingham; uncles, R.C. Smith IV and Jason Freeze both of Locust Fork and numerous cousins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel services will be held on Thursday, September 16 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Rick Hopkins, Good Samaritan Baptist Church in Center Point and Bro. Rick Dill, First Baptist Church in Cleveland officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
