Bonita Norman

Bonita Grimes Norman, 75, of Birmingham, AL went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Good Friday, April 18, 2014. She was born in Montgomery, AL on February 23, 1939 to the late Edna Sasser Duncan and George Woodrow Grimes. She graduated from Thompson High School, Shelby County in 1958. She married Neil Gordon Norman Sr. in December 3, 1960. She retired with 31 years of service from South Central Bell Company. She volunteered with the Telephone Pioneers of America. Bonita is survived by three children: Neil G Norman Jr (Sonny) of Fayetteville, GA, Dayna C Miller of Pinson, AL and Tabitha G Norman of Pinson, AL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. A viewing will be held at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, AL from 5-7pm on Tuesday, April 22nd. The funeral will take place at 2pm on Wednesday, April 23rd with Pastor Jason McIntosh of Palmerdale United Methodist Church presiding. The burial will immediately follow.
