Bobbylene Minor

Bobbylene Harris Minor, 81 of Hoover, formerly of Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Mrs. Minor, a retired realtor, is a charter and life-long member of Bellevue Baptist Church (Sandusky 1st Baptist). She is preceded in death by her husband, Grover Cleveland Minor, Jr., and son, Steven Harris Minor. Mrs. Minor is survived by son, Reverend Rod C. Minor (Camille) of Austin, Texas; daughter Jenny Minor Golson (Henry) of Fort Deposit; daughter Jill Minor Coley (William) of Hoover; daughter in law, Marilyn Minor Pickett (Hershel) of Alabaster; brother Dane H. Harris (Connie) of Austin, Texas; aunt Virginia Moss of Houston, Texas and many nieces and nephews. A devoted mother and grandmother, Mimi is blessed with ten grandchildren and one great-grandson; Brandon S. Minor (Saskia) and Hugo of Atlanta, GA; Brad R. Minor of New York, New York; Jordan, Meredith and Austin Minor of Austin, Texas; Amanda, Suzanne and John Louis Golson of Fort Deposit and Adrienne and Reid Minor Coley of Hoover. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 10AM - 12PM with Chapel services beginning at 12PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Reverends Rod C. Minor and Paul McNeese officiating and burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
