Bobby Housh

Mr. Bobby Gene Housh, age 79, of Destin, FL, formerly of Birmingham died Sunday, June 15, 2014 in Panama City, FL. Mr. Housh was preceded in death by his parents, Hardy Fletcher Housh and Zula Goolesby Housh; two sisters, Marie Moseley and Jackie Housh and two brothers, Infant Housh and Hardy Lex Housh. Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Kay Darden Housh; his brother-in-law, David Darden and his wife, Nita; a host of loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Housh was retired as co-owner of The Plate Shop in Birmingham after more than 30 years of service. He was a native of Winfield, AL, a former Alabama National Guard member, member of Huffman Masonic Lodge #633 and served with the Shriners in the entertainment unit. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Sanders officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Jefferson Memorial East directing the services.
