Bobby Harris

Bobby T. Harris, age 85, of Decatur, passed away on February 22, 2021. He was born in Birmingham to the late Wendell and Mildred Harris, and grew up in Oak Ridge, TN. He was a US Army Veteran, who went on to retire from the Social Security Administration and Baptist Montclair Hospital. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed golf, fishing, boxing, and watching Alabama Football. He was a loving family man who will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Jean Harris; and his daughter, Robin Harris Duncan. He is survived by his wife, Judy Grace Harris; his son, Steve Harris (Cynthia); grandchildren, Wes Harris (Carmen), Becca Harris Jackson (James), Jacob Duncan (Taylor), Rachel Duncan, Isaac Duncan; and great-grandchildren, Carter, Cooper, Gracie, Josiah, and Hazel. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25, at 3pm in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
