Bobbie Perkins

Ms. Bobbie Perkins, 76, passed away on August 26, 2016. She was born on April 12, 1940 to the late Julious and Gladys Butler. She loved Alabama football, retired as a Quality Control Inspector at Ball Metal, and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Ricky Lee Gabbert, and brother, Duwane McCauley. She is survived by her daughter, Eva Marie (Nelson) Elam, sons, Keith (Belinda) Gabbert, and Troy (Christina) Yancey, beloved sister, Bonita Mitchell, 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
