On Thursday, July 11, 2019, Bobbie Mann Naish, passed away peacefully at her home in Vestavia’s Town Village. Bobbie was 89 years old and still as beautiful as ever! Bobbie was born and raised in a wonderful family in Tarrant, Alabama. Her family was made up of her mom and dad, Jesse and Leola Mann, younger sister, Shirlene and younger brother, Marvin. As the oldest child, Bobbie set the bar high. Bobbie excelled in school and was known as “mama’s favorite”. She was raised at Springdale Baptist Church, where she came to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She continued to walk through life with Him by her side! As an adult, Bobbie continued to excel in whatever she did. She kept an immaculate, beautiful home, prepared delicious well-balanced meals, and took excellent care of her children, Debbie and Tim. When Bobbie entered the work world, she served as an administrative assistant to several executives. She became invaluable to them, as she used those skills of organization, tenacity and commitment to excellence to help them succeed. On a personal side, Bobbie was a caregiver at heart. She loved to care for anyone in need. She was the one that made sure all extended family members knew of anyone’s need, she was the one that could be counted on to take someone to the doctor or take a meal. In her later years, she made sure everyone got a birthday card (sending hundreds of birthday cards out each year) and did all she could to help anyone (including phone solicitors!) Bobbie adored her family! Her son, Tim (Vonna) Jacks and granddaughter Alexa; daughter, Debbie (Joe) Lundquist and deceased granddaughter Krista, her husband Bryan Roark and their daughter Chloe; stepson Steve (Patricia) Naish and grandchildren Stephen and Stephanie, stepdaughter Valisa Naish and grandchildren Varena and Brandon. Bobbie continued her strong relationship with her siblings, Marvin Mann and Shirlene (Bob) Bruce and their families throughout her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Naish. The final few years of her life, she was lovingly cared for by NaToya, Alisha, and Yvonne Booker, Evelyn Moye and Patrice Smith. For their kindness and compassion, we are eternally grateful! Bobbie was treasure and loved by many! She will be greatly missed but we know she is happy in heaven directing the housekeeping squad J. We love you Grandbobbie! The service for the celebration of her life will be held on Monday, July 15 at 12:00 at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. Visitation will be at 11:00am. We would love for you to come!
