Bobbie Mcdaniel

Bobbie Nell Hollis McDaniel, 79, of Ashville, AL went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 5, 2012. She was born on March 25, 1933 in Sulligent, AL to Bud Jefferson and Nina Mae Hollis. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy G. McDaniel, daughter Sarah Hankins Gill, sister Robbie Hollis Lewis and brother Freddie C. Hollis. She is survived by three children Cynthia Hankins Cash (Cayce) of Ashville, Judith Kay Hankins of Ashville, and Brian K. McDaniel of Sylvan Springs AL, two sisters Nellie Hollis Pennington (Phillip) of Columbus MS, Joanne Hollis Jordan of Dothan AL, a special sister-in-law Dene A. Hollis of Cullman AL, and a brother-in-law D. Gene Lewis of Hamilton MS. She has eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren as well as many friends, nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Ashville, AL. Visitation will be from 11am until 1pm with funeral services at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, AL and the burial will follow at Highland Memorial in Bessemer, AL.
