Bobbie T. Carr, age 83, of Wilsonville, AL and former resident, of Center Point, AL passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 in Columbiana, AL. She was a devoted member of Mountain View Baptist Church for over 25 years. Mrs. Carr enjoyed many hobbies, such as, sewing and cooking, but was most passionate about painting. She enjoyed vacationing in the mountains and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Carr was predeceased by her sister, Lavada T. Crick. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Norbert Carr; her daughter, Debra McDurmin (Rick); her son, Larry W. Steeley (Trisha); grandchildren: Angie, Chris, and Rick McDurmin; two great granddaughters, Whitney and Jessica; Niece, Randy Merrill (Hugh). The visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, July 26th from 1pm until 2pm. The funeral will begin at 2pm at the funeral home chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Pastor Rouse is officiating. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville is directing.
