Billy Patterson

Billy L. Patterson, age 79, of Birmingham, AL passed away on November 7, 2009. He retired from the Birmingham Police Department with 32 years of service, and then worked for the Federal Marshall's office for 10 years. Billy was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Parkway Christian Fellowship. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Lena Patterson and brother, James H. Patterson. Billy is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Betty Patterson; daughters, Karen Allums (Billy) and Kelly Patterson; grandchildren, Nicole Allums, Alex Abel and Kelsey Skellie. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9, 2009 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 12:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Buddy Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Talladega. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
