MADDOX, BILLY F. "Peanut"

Age 72 of Moody, AL went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2013 to await the homecoming of his loving wife, Linda Maddox of 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. He is survived by: His wife Linda Maddox, his 5 children Sandi Vowell (Eric), Scott Maddox (Kathi), Shane Maddox (Emily), Tracy Maddox (Son), and Melanie Maddox (Daughter); 7 Grandchildren: Reese, Shawn, Brooke, Lindsey, Ben, Jonathan, and Jacob; 3 brothers: Charles, Don, and Mike; 3 sisters: Delores, Sandy, and Linda; numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a member of Vanguard Ministries, a loving, faithful, Godly family man, a US Navy veteran, and retired from a 45 year career in the petroleum industry in the southeast. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 10AM at Jefferson Memorial Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Trussville, AL. Visitation will be Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 5-7PM. Rev. Carey Barker, Rev. Donald Maddox, and Rev. Michael Curtis. Active Pallbearers: Kevin, Caleb, Shawn, Reese, Ben and Jonathan. Honorary pallbearers will be the Childersburg High School class of 1959. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alabama Kidney Foundation in honor of Billy Maddox.
