Billie H. "Pat" Patterson

December 24, 1932-February 22, 2014

age 81, of Pinson, AL passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014.

He was a member of the Five Mile Presbyterian Church and Inglenook Presbyterian Church. He was a Mason and Boy Scout Master, #327 during the late 60's.

He was retired from the state of Alabama as a Civil Engineer. He served in the U.S. Air Force, 809th Air Police Squadron at MacDill AFB, the Alabama Air National Guard at the 117th Reconnaissance Wing/CES and the Air Force Reserves at Maxwell AFB with over 42 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie and Gertrude Patterson and his loving wife, Glenda Patterson.

He is survived by children: Steven Patterson (Dale), Stanley Patterson, Susan Baty (John), Brian Patterson (Lou Ann); sister, Shirley Rutherford (Frank); grandchildren: Amie Ezelle (Cohen), Christopher Patterson, and Caitlin Patterson; five great grandchildren: Samuel, Iva, Levi, Nathanael, and Benjamin Ezelle, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews; his faithful four legged companion, Sunny, and many other extended family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5pm until 7pm, Tuesday, February 25th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, February 26th at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Pastor Cohen Ezelle is officiating.
