Beverly Wood England, 73, of Trussville, AL, walked into the arms of her Savior as she left her earthly home surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
She had many family members waiting on her as she arrived into eternity. Among those were her mother and father, Edna Earl and Raymond Wood, and her sister, Linda Rae Wood.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Aaron "Greg" England, her daughter and son-in-law, Ashley (England) and Randy Morrison, granddaughters, Sydney Raina Morrison and Gracen Brooke Morrison, grandsons Stephen "Asa" Morrison and Aaron Grady Morrison, her sisters Carolyn Wood Patterson and Deborah Jo Wood (Greg), a sister-in-law, Janice (Jerry) Rodgers, a niece, Renee' Wood Loyed (Troy), and a great-niece, Kaitlyn Renee' Loyed.
Beverly was born on May 26, 1950 and was raised in the East Lake area of Birmingham. She spent her summers at Cascade Plunge and Wind Creek on Lake Martin with her parents, three sisters, and friends. She attended Barrett Elementary School and graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1968. She continued her education at Auburn University, where she studied accounting. She began her accounting career at Carrier Corporation, which became Weathertech Corporation. She served here for 40 years while extending a listening ear and a caring heart coupled with wisdom and truth to her coworkers and sales reps. Beverly was owner, along with Greg, of the Husky Scissor's Barber Shop in Trussville. She attended Church of the Highlands Grants Mill Campus.
Beverly carried kindness with her always. She met many people in the years she and Greg traveled the world as well as the roads of the south as they entered car shows with their 1932 Ford Victoria. Her grandchildren were the beat to her heart, and she spent many hours in stadiums, on bleachers, in auditoriums, and concert halls as she supported her grandchildren in every type of ball game, cheer and dance events, and voice recitals and performances. She enjoyed hosting family events and enjoyed having all her family over for anything and everything she could.
Pallbearers include Randy Morrison, Jim McCreless, Bobby Stewart, Asa Morrison, Clay England, and Andy Gray, and honorary pallbearer Aaron Morrison.
