Betty A. Johnson

Betty A. Johnson, age 95, of Birmingham, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 19, 2021. Betty was a devoted Christian and member of East Lake UMC where she taught Sunday School and started the Eastern Area Christian Ministries. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed poetry and loved her pet cats.

She was preceded by her loving husband, Billy M. Johnson, of 60 years; her daughter, Judy Johnson; her parents and two sisters.

She is survived by daughter, Debbie Hoch (Wayne); her five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The funeral for Betty will be held on Monday, November 22nd at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. Visitation will gather one hour prior to the service. Mark Correll will preside over the service. Burial will immediately follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home’s adjoining cemetery.
