Betty Williams

WILLIAMS, BETTY B. Age 84, of Vincent, AL passed away on August 28, 2012. She was a member of Macedonia North Baptist Church in Vincent, AL. Betty was an avid rose gardener and birdwatcher and will be remembered for her great southern cooking and family gatherings. She was a loving mother, and a beloved grandma and great-grandma and will be loved and missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, H.B. Williams; parents, Tally and Elvira Bowden. Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Searcy and Cynthia Kizzire (Alan); sons, Ronnie Williams (Ping), Mike Williams (Debbie) and Tommy Williams; grandchildren, Craig Williams (Heather), Ronda Williams, Kaylie Williams, Aubrey Bacus, Lia Williams, Keith Williams(Aileen), Brian Williams (Stephanie), Mark Laney, Sandi Denise Laney Hendricks, April Combs (Anthony), Monica McCugh (Rex), Jeremy Kizzire (Karen); 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Harmon (Bill); and sister-in-law, Maida Bowden. A graveside service will be held on Friday August 31, 2012 at 11:00am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with visitation one hour prior to service time at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
