Betty Vaughn

Betty Ruth Vaughn, 75, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away February 28, 2021. Betty was born in Haleyville, Alabama on October 8, 1945. Betty managed Spring Aire Cleaners in Tarrant 35 years. Most everyone knew her. She was known as wife, mom, mamaw and loved by all. She loved spending time with family. She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, R.W. Vaughn, one son, Bobby Jones (Elaine), daughter, Barbara Zegarra (Peter), stepson, James Vaughn (Martha), sister-in-laws: Charlotte Lee (Bill), Kay Cherry (Larry) as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 am Friday, March 5, 2021 in the Parlor of Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, followed with a Graveside service at 12:00 pm in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Pastor Cedric Brown, of Destiny Baptist Church.
