Betty Phillips

Betty Venable Phillips, 82, of Center Point, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Thursday March 30, 2017. She was born April 9, 1934 to the late Dewey and Pearl Venable of Margaret, Alabama and was a graduate of St. Clair County High School. Preceding her in death was her husband of fifty years, Frank A. Phillips. Betty is survived by her sister Margaret Evans, her sons Bruce Wilson, Jeff Wilson, grandchildren Laura Wilson, Luke Wilson and Jacob Wilson.

Betty was retired from Bama Fluid Power and enjoyed life. She was loved by all and very active in her church and library with Gardendale First Baptist Church. Betty will be missed greatly, but we know she is dancing on those streets of gold!

Assisting the family with arrangements is Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL. Services will be held Monday April 3, 2017 with with Brother Leon Zalenski of Gardendale First Baptist Church officiating. The private family viewing will be at 12:00 pm and the Chapel will open at 1:00 pm to receive friends. Services celebrating Betty's life will commence in the Chapel at 2:00 pm and following with interment by her late husband Frank in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
