Betty Murray

Betty H. Murray passed away on December 9, 2016 at the age of 75. She was the daughter of the late Eula and Eulys Hartley. Betty was a member of Moody First Baptist. She retired after 20 years of service from Samford University where she served as an administrative secretary. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Donnie W. Murray, Sr.; son Donnie W. Murray, Jr. (Gina); daughter, Lisa Turbeville (David) of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Matthew Turbeville (Allison), Michelle McCombs (Philip) of North arolina, Philip Murray (Jess) and Andrew Murray; three great grandchildren. A funeral service for Betty will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14th at Jefferson Memorial Chapel in Trussville. Visitation will be held two hours prior. Burial will follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial's adjoining cemetery. Reverend David Turbeville is officiating.
