Betty Jean Mooney, age 78, of Birmingham, passed away December 20, 2015. Betty was a member of Chalkville Baptist Church and enjoyed taking care of people. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Mooney and son Joseph Mooney. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Dec 23, at 1pm with visitation from 11am until 1pm. She is survived by her son Michael Mooney (Nancy), grandchildren Stacia Mooney, Kayley Davidson, Ryan Mooney, Christy Bersanti, Holly Contreras, Heather Toledo and Mindy Esquivel.
