Betty Lou Cash went to be with our Lord on the morning of March 15, 2021. Betty was a faithful servant of God, taking precious care of her mother (until mother’s death), sisters, friends and neighbors throughout her life, always giving of herself unselfishly to others. Betty is pre-deceased by her mother, Lou Anna Palmer Cash and her brother, Howell William Cash. Betty leaves behind her two sisters, Ruth Cash and Patricia Cash Burns (Melvin), and brother, U. S. (Randall) Cash, Jr. (Madeline), and nephews and nieces she all loved dearly. She was born in East Gadsden, Alabama, on June 11, 1931, but lived the majority of her life in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from Etowah High School in Gadsden, Alabama. After moving to Birmingham, she attended Alverson-Draughon Business College. For over fifty-five (55) years Betty worked for Bite & Bite Attorneys, as a legal secretary along with her sister Ruth Cash. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of Lake Highland Baptist Church for most of her life where she sang in the choir. Betty loved people and was a great listener for those with problems. Betty was a positive, up-lifting person with a ready smile for everyone. She loved Alabama football that she enthusiastically watched and cheered. Betty was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by those around her who will miss her warm smiles, humor and terrific hugs. The family will receive friends at the graveside before the 2:00 pm Graveside Service i\at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, Alabama.
