Betty Garner

Betty Long Garner, age 81 of Birmingham, AL passed away on July 21, 2017 at home after a long illness. She was retired from Long Electronics and a member of Deerfoot Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Garner. She is survived by her children, Karen Harris (John), Jeffrey B. Garner and Ricky D. Garner (Cheryl); grandchildren, Kristen Moore (CJ), Megan Garner, Thomas Garner and Ashleigh Harris; sister, Linda Sumners (Gene); brothers, Jimmy Long (Chris) and Roy Long (Lisa); sisters-in-law, Kathleen Garner and Shirley Garner; numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 12 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. The burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Chaplain Gary Schultz will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
