Betty Frankl

Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Frankl, age 76 of Sulligent, will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at First Methodist Church of Trussville with Dr. Stephen Strange officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.

Betty Nell Priddy Frankl passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at UAB St. Vincent’s East. She was born on December 23,1948 to Edra Nell and Stratton Priddy. She went to Sulligent High School and graduated from the University of Alabama with a master’s degree in speech pathology. She was a proud alumnus and loved watching Alabama football. Betty was an active member of the Trussville United Methodist Church, as well as the Central Alabama Miata Society and the Peachtree Miata Club. She was a retired educator and was involved in her community and volunteered at the Trussville Public Library. 

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest A. Frankl II. 

She is survived by her brother, Bill Priddy, her daughter, Joanna Webster Persse, her son-in-law, Ernest A. Frankl III (Lena), and her grandchildren, Athena and Caleb Parmely. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Donations may be made in her name to the Embrace Alabama Kid's (the Methodist Children's Home), located at 923 S Perry St, Montgomery, AL 36104.
