Betty Demsky

Betty Demsky, age 88 of Birmingham, AL passed away on December 29, 2016. She was formerly of North Tonawanda, NY. She was a beloved longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church for over 40 years. She retired as an optical assistant with Dr. Skoney and she loved to attend the Clay Senior Citizens Center. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Demsky. She is survived by her children, Kathy Smith (Larry), Jim Demsky (Toni) and Dave Demsky (Carla); brother, Alvin Poerschke (Evelyn); grandchildren, Bethany, Kevin, Samantha, Hilary, Jeff, John, Jacob and Austin; 6 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Memorial services will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 11 AM at Faith Lutheran Church. Reverend Karen Boda will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
