Betty Barnes

Betty C. Barnes, age 77 of Irondale, AL passed away on October 27, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Clara Childers, her first husband, Virgil Melvin, the love of her life, William G. Barnes and her great grandson, Christian Blake Schwartz. She is survived by her son, Virgil Leon Barnes (Toni); granddaughters, Monica Schwartz (Scott) and Kristie Dalton (Jeff); great grandsons, Aaron Schwartz and Zac Spradlin; brothers, Buddy Childers (Kaki) and Earnest Childers; numerous nieces and nephews; two long time best friends, Ida and Jan. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 2 to 3PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services to follow at 3:00 PM Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
