Betsy Kilcrease

Betsy Roberta "Betty" Kilcrease, 74, of Lubbock and formerly of Birmingham will be 2 PM Wednesday, October 8th in Jefferson Memorial Chapel, Birmingham , AL. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens and under the direction of Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Kilcrease was born December 15, 1933 in Richmond , KY ; Betty died September 30th, 2008. She first married Irving J. Trimble in 1950, he preceded her in death in 1977. A brother, Marshal Bowlin also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and retired in 1996 from the NLRB. On September 21, 1996, Betty married Frank Kilcrease and made Lubbock her home. Betty was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. Her survivors include her husband, Frank of Lubbock, son, Aaron and wife Sue Trimble of Tokyo, Japan, daughters, Sana Marzella and Lita Trimble both of Birmingham, AL and step-daughters, Mary Jane and husband, Mark Kabaci of Lawrenceville, GA and Lou Ann and husband, Mark Ritter of Colorado Springs, CO, brother; Earl and wife Betty Jean Bowlin of Richmond, KY and sister in law, Gertrude Bowlin of Waco, along with 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Alzheimer's Association, 4400 N Big Spring, Midland , TX 79705 .
