Bessie Traweek

Bessie M. Traweek, age 94, of Trussville passed away on September 19, 2024. Bessie loved to garden in her yard. She was a member of Trussville First Baptist Church and also the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Traweek was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Traweek; parents, Mary Burrow and John Henry Moore; son, Danny Traweek; daughter, Shirley Traweek; brothers, Rayburn Moore and John Moore; sisters, Audrey Johnson and Gladys Porter.

She is survived by her brothers, Junior (Barbara) Moore, Jimmy Moore, David (Molly Dean) Moore; sisters, Nellie Thrasher and Mary (Harlen) Harris; three grandchildren, Dawn (Phil) England, Danielle (Woody) Moss, Thomas Traweek; four great-grandchildren, Ronnie Atkinson, Kristen (Eric) Gargus, Cannon Moss, Willow Grace Moss; two great-great-grandchildren, Landon Gargus, Maddie Gargus; daughter-in-law, Angela Traweek, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Atkinson, Jeff Headley, Bo Moore, Steven Moore, Ray Moore and David Moore.
