Bertha Box

Bertha M. Box, age 87 of Birmingham, AL passed away on January 27, 2009. She was a member of Deerfoot Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edmond W. Box and her two sisters, Catherine Abel and Francis Wolfe. She is survived by her children, Evelyn Sanders (Bill), Joyce Blackwell (Terry) of Orange City, FL, Annette Scarborough (Rick) of McCalla, AL, and Edmond Box, Jr. (Teresa) of Clay, AL; sisters, Peggy Hardin and Colleen Brazil both of Birmingham, AL; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Services will be Friday, January 30, 2009 at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at Jefferson Memorial. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Roger Wilmore will be officiating the services for Mrs. Box. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
