Bert Green

Bert E. Green, 76, a resident of Pinson, AL, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018. He was a retired member of the NTM Boilermakers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie & Bernice Green; and brother, Jimmy “Jim” Green. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Linda; daughter, Dana Templeton; son, Charles E. Green; step-son, Gary Lindesmith; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Green Murphy; sister-in-law, Cora Green; and numerous other family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 26 at 12pm at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Pinson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church, Hwy 79, Pinson, AL 35126.
