Barry Brokaw

Age 66 of Vestavia, AL passed away on October 25, 2015. Barry loved sports; he was an avid Alabama Fan. He loved people, his family, and his friends; he never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his father, George W. Brokaw, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Tommie Lacey Brokaw; mother, Wilma Brokaw; brother, George W. Brokaw, Jr.; loved one, Debbie Burgess; mother-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 3:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. The Reverend Doctor Cary G. Speaker will officiate. The family would like to give a special "thank you" to his Woodlawn High School football teammates and coaches; Warblers buddies; Delta Tau Delta brothers; Saudi coworkers; Vestavia Fire and Rescue Squads; and caring staff at St. Vincent's Hospital.
