Barna Goff

GOFF, BARNA GANT Barna Gant Goff, age 58 of Rayville, LA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2010. Originally from Birmingham, she was the daughter of the late Roy Gant and the late Elaine Lamberth and was also preceded in death by her nephew, Brian Wordell. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Kerry; daughter, Sarah McCrory (Jared) Montgomery, AL; son, TJ Goff (Beth) Myrtle Beach, SC; 4 grandchildren, Karoline, Ella, Anderson and Lainey; sister, Loretta Sewell (Bill) Remlap; nephew, Gregg Wordell (Sharron) Pinson; nieces, Karen Colicchio (Mark) of Mobile; and Bobbie Wordell Gardendale; and many other extended family members. Her faith in Jesus Christ was seen by all who knew her. She lived as the woman described in Proverbs 31:10, "Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also and he praises her." We praise God for the time we had with her. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2010 with a chapel service at 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Trussville. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to The Chuck and Mo Stephenson Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is awarded to 5 deserving high school students in Richland Parrish in Louisiana.
