Barbara Stuman

Barbara Ann Stuman, age 68, of Birmingham, passed away May 9, 2017. Ms. Stuman taught 28 years in Birmingham Schools, was a member of the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, the Birmingham Opera Club and was a member and served on various committees at Hunter Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Robert B. Stuman Jr., and Lucille Stuman Jones, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burt Stuman Sr., Otto Temples and Shandora Culwell. Chapel services will be held on with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. She is survived by her sisters Catherine Patterson (Steve) of Atlanta, GA, brother Dr. Barry Stuman (Marian) of Vestavia, nephews Michael Stuman, and Patrick Patterson, nieces Lauren Stuman, Brooke Olinger (Jason), and great nephew Jason Bennett Olinger, and many special lifelong friends. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial's adjoining cemetery. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville is directing.
