Barbara Rich

Barbara Shantel Rich, age 43 of Hoover, AL passed away on August 25, 2009. She worked as an RN for the past nineteen years, currently at UAB Medical Center. She is a native of Kentucky. She loved horses and The Kentucky Derby. She is a fan of UK Basketball and Alabama Football. She is survived by her spouse, Cathy Prellwitz of Hoover, AL; son, Trevor Broadly of Trussville, AL; step-daughters, Jennifer Vinson of Hoover, AL and Karen Moorehead of Birmingham, AL; parents, Pam Haley and Larry Haley of Kentucky; sisters, Kimberly Newsam and Beth Haley-Nunez both of Kentucky; grandchildren, Lily Vinson and Sebastain Vinson; nieces, Kelsey Stuard, Angela, Hannah, and Lydia Haley-Torres; nephews, Nicholas Newsam and Cameron Hurst. Services will be Friday, August 28, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
