Barbara Gill, age 78, of Birmingham, AL passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014. She was an active member of Huffman Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and serving with St. Vincent's East Auxiliary. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Dwight Gill. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Gill Ramsey (David); son, Andy Gill (Cindy); grandchildren: Jamey Ramsey (Michelle), Megan Elizabeth Ramsey, Kaitlyn Gill and Annie Gill; great grandchildren, Ella Kate and Olivia Ramsey. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November, 25th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral will take place on Wednesday, November 26th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Reverend Larry Smith is officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please send donations to the Big Oak Ranch.
