Barbara Anderson

Barbara T. Anderson, age 70, of Springville, passed away May 27, 2014. She was born to Kirtley and Eulalie Faye (Eldridge) Turman in Edmund, Oklahoma. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, brother Lonnie Turman, and sister Laverne Henley. She enjoyed gardening, meeting new people, family history, traveling, finding unique gifts for family and antique shopping. She enjoyed all activities and achievements of her grandchildren and supporting the American Diabetic Association and St. Jude's Children's Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 2, at 12pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Trussville. Visitation will be from 11am until 12pm Monday. She is survived by her spouse James P. Anderson, daughters Teresa (John) Archer of Columbus, Ohio, and Donna Staton of Clay, Alabama; son Michael (Ramie) Anderson of Rainbow City, Alabama; her brother Robert (Lori) Turman of Guthrie, Oklahoma; and grandchildren Alex and Andi Staton, Jack and Maggie Archer, and Roxie, her dog.
