On March 26,1953, this world was blessed with the birth of Audie Victor White. On April 30,2009, heaven was blessed with his eternal presence. Audie was a member of NorthPark Baptist Church in Trussville where he faithfully served as usher for many years. He spent his 56 years on earth serving- his Lord, his family, his friends, and his colleagues.
Because of his devotion and unconditional love for people, lives will be forever changed. His walk on earth as husband, father, son, and "Pops," and his love for the Lord, were like no other. He carried such a burden for others and had a love for everyone that words cannot convey. Audie devoted 36 years to U.A.B., and 30 to the department of neurology, where he served as the executive administrator.
Audie is survived by his wife, Kathy, his daughter, Shayna Swann (and husband, Brandon), his son, Joshua, and the two loves of his life, granddaughters, Sarah Kate and Anderson Rose Swann. He is also survived by his parents, Carlos and Mildred White, his sister, Tina Burnett (husband, J.R. and niece, Heather), his mother-in-law, Sarah Sandlin, sister-in-law, Cindy Schuessler (husband, John and nephew Chris) brothers-in-law Clay, (nieces, Magan, Whitney, Alex) and Jimmy Sandlin, sister-in-law, Tammy Sandlin, (nephew, Jay, and niece, Anna Sara), along with a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, J.H. "Buddy" Sandlin.
It is our desire to honor his life and give glory to God.
