Artie Blount

Artie Henley Blount of Birmingham, 89 years old went home to the Lord after a long illness. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Willard Blount and son, Charles Ray Blount. She is survived by her children, Donald Blount (Patricia), Judith Blount Morgan (Jerry), Martha Blount Shaw (Don), Johnnie Wayne Blount (Janice), and Bonnie Blount Atkins (Jack); brother, Dustin Henley; daughter-in-law, Gaynelle Blount Mohon; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and their children. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from1-2pm with services following at 2pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Pastor Dewey Wilhite will be officiating. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
