Anne Rauschenberg Walker was born on June 29, 1928 and passed away on June 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Guy Walker, Jr., parents, Fritz and Arrietta (Bright) Rauschenberg, brother, Fred Rauschenberg, daughter, Leslie Walker, and grandson, Caleb Walker. A Birmingham native, she resided in Clay, before moving to Tuscaloosa. She graduated from Phillips High School and attended U.A.B and Samford University. She had a successful career as a legal secretary for various law firms and for a judge. She was a Cub Scout den mother, Girl Scout sponsor, and PTA president. Anne Walker was an accomplished pianist who could play any tune by sound and a gifted water color artist, winning many awards. She was a faithful memeber to different churches. She had five children: Annabel Walker, Johnny Walker, (Tammy), Cassie Walker Udell, (Jere), Leslie Walker, and Maggie Walker Raburn, (Tommy); five grandchildren: Emily Raburn Dunaway,(Casey), Kyle Raburn, (Victoria Salinas), Guy Walker, (Courtney), Caleb Walker, and Spencer Udell, (Applinia), and seven great grand daughters: Allie and Anna Dunaway, Campbell, Chloe, and Camille Walker, and Rosy and Cece Udell. Anne had many cousins, nephews and nieces, including Nisa Rauschenberg Croll (David), Lauren Rauschenberg, and Krista Rauschenberg. Throughout her life, at different times, she was a member of Acipco Methodist, East Lake Methodist, Pinson Methodist, St. Mark Methodist, and The Word Community Church. To honor her wishes, her family is planning to have a small family service and would like to thank her friends, especially Gail Hales, Pat Gooden, and Regina Harrell.
