Anna Kibbey

Anna Laura Kibbey, age 95, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, formerly of Tarrant City, went home to be with the Lord on July 5th, 2012. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years Frank Woodrow Kibbey, Sr., sisters Mary Lucille Sawyer, Bonnie Jewel Saunders, Clara Kuykendall, Peggy Leaver, Edna Lee Thomas and brother John William Sawyer. She is survived by her children Linda (David) Harris, Joy (Mike) Lott and Woody (Pat) Kibbey, and grandchildren Todd Harris, Ty (Susan) Harris, Troy (Michele) Harris, Michael Lott, Cary Lott, Lollie Lott, Ashley (Mike) McCutchin, Anna Kibbey, Daniel Kibbey, and great grandchildren Sally Harris and Emma Harris, and sisters Chris Vick, Susie M. Rogers, Carol Jean (Ed) McLaughlin and sisters-in-law Ohava Sawyer and Betty Jones. She was a former member of Tarrant First Methodist Church, Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Pinson and a current member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Agape Sunday School Class of Shades Mountain Baptist Church. Visitation will be Monday, July 9, 11:00 am with service at 12:00 noon at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville followed by internment at Forrest Hill. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
