Anna Marie Andrews Clenney, 77 of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on December 23.2016 in Birmingham, Alabama. Funeral service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Trussville, Alabama on December 28,2016 at 12pm with Pastor Ed Pearson officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville Alabama. Visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial on December 28 ,2016 from 11-12. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements. Anna Clenney was born in Birmingham,Alabama to Alva and Florence Andrews on Dec.11,1939. She went to high school at Hewitt Trussville High and graduated in 1958. She was a retired children's librarian for Tarrant Library She enjoyed getting children interested in reading and teaching them how to experience and enjoy life, love and adventure thru the pages of a book, but also reminding them that family is the sweetest story they will ever author. Aside from her love of books, flower gardening and her ever growing frog collection her greatest accomplishment was raising her children. She took the most pride in their actions and felt every bit of pain they went thru while guiding them to their own lives. She is survived by her 3 children Teresa Williams (Phillip) of Pinson,Al, John Clenney (Danae) of Brookwood,Al, Donna Roehrig (Chris) of Centerpoint,Al, . Her 5 grandchildren Tera Pearson (Chris), Andrew Clenney, Kasey Williams,, Killian Roehrig, Daniel Williams and soon to arrive in January (2017) Olivia. . Her 4 great grandchildren Dresden,Grant, Harley, and Ivy. She is preceded in death by her husband Austin Clenney, her son Eric Clenney and her daughter Gracia Marie Clenney.
