Ann Kreitlein

To everyone who knew her, Ann Hudson Kreitlein was the proudest family member who has ever been. Whether it was her role as mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister, cousin or niece, her love for and dedication to her family was unmatched. 

Survived by her sons, Rick and Robert Kreitlein and Robert's wife Megan, Ann devoted on her grandkids, Nash, Macy, Cooper, Natalie Smart and Lucy plus her great grandchildren Ryker and Zhan. 

During her career, Ann was a dedicated and expert executive assistant to the CEO of Compass Bank, retiring with accolades and the love and well-wishes of many. Outside of work hours, Ann loved history, as evidenced by her Master's degree in history from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, but also through her fascination with her family's history. She studied Genealogy and the history of her family and its ancestors and loved to share the tales of what she found with her family and friends. 

She will be greatly missed by all, and we hope she is even now enjoying chats with ancestors she once studied about.
