Andrew Holmes

A. Victor Holmes, age 60 of Gallant, AL, was born on February 22, 1952 in Leeds, AL. He left this world to be with the Lord on Friday, July 20, 2012 after a long fight with leukemia. He was a loving husband of 37 years, father of two, a builder of many projects, and a dedicated member of Eden Westside Baptist Church since 1994. A devoted man of God, Victor's life was his testimony. He is the son of the late Emery Holmes and Marie (Alfred) Seals. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Holmes. He is survived by his wife, Victoria Holmes, one son, Chad (Shanna) Holmes, one daughter, Stacy (Todd) Morris, four grandchildren, Troy Morris and Ethan, Christian, and Khloe Holmes. Also surviving is one sister, Charlotte Fox along with several other relatives and a host of friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 8 am until 10 am at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 10 am with Brother Jacky Connell officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
