Andrea Barnes

Andrea Lee Barnes, age 66, of Birmingham passed away on April 18, 2024. She was a floral designer for Shirley's Florist for over 11 years. Andrea's favorite thing was looking forward to being a mother and loving her four children she raised. Her biggest job was trying to keep Jon in line.

She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Thor Russell; her parents, Carleen and Walter Templin. Mrs Barnes is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Jon N. Barnes and her three children, 13 grandchidren and three great-grandchildren. Her son Christophers son Tyler Christian Russell Byess; her daughters are Sheri (Christopher) Cain with her children Brandon, Seth Norman, Shane, Harper and grandchild Ryland. Amanda (Randy) York and her children Tyler, Kaleb, Charlie and RosaLee. Her son James (Aimee) Barnes and his children Destiny, Jade (Kait), Kaitlin, Chase and his grandchildren Ashleigh and Oaklynn. Andrea is survived by her sister Pamela (Paul) Wood and brother Walter "Ellis" Templin III and his son Brandon.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. There will be a Chapel service at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
