Funeral Services for Mr. Alex Brandon Burkett, age 35 of Wetumpka, will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Gunn officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Alex Brandon Burkett passed away on April 5, 2025 at a place where he felt the most love in his life. Born on August 31, 1989 in Northfolk, Virginia to Micheal Burkett, and Debra Champion. He is preceded in death by His grandparents Lottie and Dwayne Neese, and Larry and Florence McKeehan.

Father of Logan Alexander (mother Amanda Henderson), Son of Michael (and Robin) Burkett, and Debra (and Curtis) Champion. Beloved Brother to Trent Burkett, Oliver Champion, and Olivia Champion. Brotherly Cousin to Lauren McKeehan and Ari Geigling. Uncle to Autumn, Khalib, and Peyton Burkett. Nephew to Roy Mckeehan, Michelle Otis, Glenn( and Jenny) Neese, Miranda (and Jeff) Bowels.

Alex (Brandon) worked as a landscaper for Landscape Workshop for his 5th year. Brandon loved fishing and hunting with his Father Micheal, and his son Logan. Brandon also loved family holidays with his siblings-- he was always the life of the party and brought a smile to everyone's face. He loved his mother with a love so fierce. Brandon always loved a good tune. Brandon was a loving Father, Son, and Brother. His legacy of love, strength, and perserverance will always be remembered.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers donations to the family in regards to unexpected funeral costs would be greatly appreciated.
