Agnes Watson

Agnes Gable Watson passed away June 22, 2012. She was born on September 8, 1930 to Benson and Millie Allison Gable in Boaz, AL. She married Hershel Watson and had three children, Nellie, Mickie and Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jack and Bill Gable and daughter Mickie Watson Ellis. She is survived by her daughter Nellie Watson Smith (Milton) and son Michael Watson (Becky), grandchildren Jason Smith, David Smith (Stephanie), Michael Smith, Chris Watson (Ashley), Reid Watson, Olivia Gable Ellis, one great grandchild, Tucker Watson and a second great grandchild on the way. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Betty Oliver, brothers Benny Gable (Nila), Jimmy Gable (Kathy) and Wayne Gable along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family. Agnes was known by all who knew and loved her as "Nonnie". She retired from Jefferson County Board of Education. Nonnie cherished and loved her family dearly and enjoyed time with each of them. She will be missed by all who knew her. Services: Monday June 25th at Jefferson Memorial East, Trussville. Visitation begins at 11:00 am and service at 12:00 noon.
