TEMPLES, SR., WILLIAM IRVIN

age 87, resident of Trussville, AL and formally of Albany, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 surrounded by his loved ones. He retired from Ryder/PIE where he served as a truck driver for over 30 years. He was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Trussville. Irvin loved fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn S. Temples; his son, William "Bill" Temples, Jr.; granddaughter, Brittany Temples; brother, Ewell H. Temples; sister, Naida Temples; and step-son, John H. Blackman, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Blackman Temples; brother, Tyron (Joyce) Temples; daughter, Sheila (Steve) Ray; daughter-in-law, Sharon (Bill) Temples; step-children, Linda (Jackie) White, Hank (Marianne) Blackman and Lora (John) Blackman grandchildren; Blake, Stephanie and Stacey; the light of his life Chrissy and his other beloved great grandchildren. Services for Irvin will be held at 12 noon on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM till 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville directing.
