William (Bill) Herbert Gamble, age 92, of Trussville, AL (formerly of Birmingham, AL) was called home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2017. Mr. Gamble attended McAdory High School. He graduated from Howard College where he earned the nickname of "Attaboy" due to his athletic ability. After graduation from Howard in 1946, he attended Louisville Theological seminary, graduating in 1949. Mr. Gamble was a longtime member of Huffman Baptist Church. For over 60 years, Mr. Gamble worked in property rental management and sales. He began his career with Bowden Bishop Real Estate Company and later owned his own company, Eastern Home Finders. Mr. Gamble never thought of himself as "retired" from real estate. Mr. Gamble was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Clara Gamble, his beloved wife Marion, and his brother Charles Gamble. He is survived by his children Belinda Treadwell (Vic), William David Gamble, Cynthia Jones (Gary), Nancy Olive (Jimmy), Patricia Waldrop, and Jonathan Gamble (Gina), his sisters Mary Ruth McIntyre and Elizabeth Clayton, ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, a niece, and several nephews. The family extends a special thank you to Affinity Hospice and his private sitters. Visitation will be Thursday, November 9 from 10am until 11am, followed by a graveside service at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville
