Virginia Sharp

Virginia (Ginny) Louise Vialle Sharp, 94, of Trussville, AL passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012, at Golden Living Center. Mrs. Sharp was born on December 20, 1017, in Osage City, KS, to Eugene Augusta Vialle and Jennie Virginia Giorza Vialle. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-six years, Melvin Jesse Sharp; brothers, Eugene Jr., Emile, and Norman; sisters Blanche, Margurite, Frances, June, and Colleen; daughter-in-law, Cindy Sharp. Survivors include sister Maxine Eslinger of Hardin, MO; son M. Kent Sharp of Roswell, GA; daughter, Cynthia (William) Nielsen of Trussville, AL, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Ginny was a long time resident of Creston, IA, before moving to Trussville in 2000. She was a member of Smoke Rise United Methodist Church in Warrior, AL. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Trussville, AL, on Thursday, December 6, at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to services. The Rev. William Nielsen will conduct the service. Interment will be in Lexington, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
